From a 1970s design by David Gill. Very rare to find whole set. Small 3 3/8″ H, 6″ handle to spout. Medium 4 1/8″ H, 7.5″ handle to spout. Large 4 3/4″ H, 9″ handle to spout. In great condition, some light staining on bottom of medium bowl, two indentation lines on rim of small bowl. We take great care in sending china, fine collectibles and delicate objects, often double boxing and then double cushioning, within the box and outside of the box. BENNINGTON Potters Vermont Original Stamped Circa 1880 Ceramic Pottery Centerpiece Bowl. This is Rare & Original Antique Vintage Bennington Potters Vermont Original Glaze Porcelain Ceramic Pottery Centerpiece Serving Bowl. This piece was nicely decorated with Original engraved Makers Mark Underneath from 1880. Its finished on All Sides and has nice curve and contour throughout the body of the piece. It has a nice Enamel Lined Interior and there is a chip on the edge of the inside and is one of their older pieces that is all original. It has a beautiful exterior that was done by hand and the piece was done in Meticulous Detail from the Time Period. This came from a Private Estate which makes it very Rare due to its Size, Age & Beauty. Please keep in mind this is All Original and may have some wear and imperfections consistent with its Age. 9.5 Inches long handle to spout (24.31 cm) & Approx. 5 Inches High (12.17 cm). This was BEAUTIFULLY MADE with the Finest Craftsmanship and will be passed down through Generations. This makes for an excellent addition to Any Collection as well as a One-of-a-Kind Heirloom gift. RARE Vintage Bennington Pottery Recipe Wall Plaque Dione Lucas Quenelles de Brochet w/Nantua Sauce Cobalt Blue Description Charming Vintage 13″x 14″ Bennington Wall Plaque Rich Cobalt Blue Hole at Top for hanging It is a heavy piece Recipe for the classic French dish QUENELLES de BROCHET with NANTUA Sauce Marked on back Bennington Potters Bennington Vermont 1822. The entire recipe is stamped into the soft clay before firing. It was subsequently glazed in cobalt blue. There are several of these to collect and are rather pricey. Note up top that is a short as made shrinkage crack from the first firing so see if you like it. Very neat piece all solid and excellent. Called “To the Queen’s Taste”. An English woman, she had several restaurants in NYC including the famed restaurant, the Gingerman. Later in her life (1960s or so), she retired to Vermont and I believe Bennington created this plate at that time to celebrate her. Don’t let this one get away! Item could have wear/use/scuffs/scratches/stains/dust/awesomeness – Please also see pictures. (Heavy/Awkward items may take another day).
