Vintage Pauline Setalla Signed Hopi Clay Bowl. I have listed a very old vintage Pauline Setalla clay bowl, most likely prior to the 1960′s. This may be one of her earliest pots as it has both the Hopi dwelling and paw drawings. It appears that she misspelled her name, missing the T in her name (not sure why). Both A’s are capitalized in her name. It appears in her more recent creations that her name has lower case a’s. The bowl shows its age as the painted surface does show wear. The signature and drawings are faint due to the age. The bowl measures a little over 6. The opening is 3″ and the height is about 4″. Also, there is a what appears to be a penciled mark on the bottom, 125. It’s very faint, just above the signature. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The item “Vintage Pauline Setalla signed Hopi clay bowl hand painted VERY OLD” is in sale since Thursday, May 23, 2019. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Cultures & Ethnicities\Native American\ US\1935-Now\Pottery”. The seller is “i-want-it” and is located in Antioch, California. This item can be shipped to United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Denmark, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Czech republic, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Estonia, Australia, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus, Slovenia, Japan, China, Sweden, South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Bahamas, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, Norway, Saudi arabia, Ukraine, United arab emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Croatia, Malaysia, Chile, Colombia, Costa rica, Dominican republic, Panama, Trinidad and tobago, Guatemala, El salvador, Honduras, Jamaica, Antigua and barbuda, Aruba, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Saint kitts and nevis, Saint lucia, Montserrat, Turks and caicos islands, Barbados, Bangladesh, Bermuda, Brunei darussalam, Bolivia, Egypt, French guiana, Guernsey, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Iceland, Jersey, Jordan, Cambodia, Cayman islands, Liechtenstein, Sri lanka, Luxembourg, Monaco, Macao, Martinique, Maldives, Nicaragua, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Reunion, Uruguay, Russian federation, South africa.

Hopi Pottery, Vintage, Large Traditional Polychrome Sikyatki Revival Design Bowl, Signed Violet Huma. This is a vintage thick wall piece. Is cited in Gregory Schaaf’s 500 artist bio. She was the mother of Anita Polacca. She is a renowned master potter. Her pieces are highly sought after and held in the finest of collections. This piece has nice warm fire clouding. Her pieces are fairly rare, this bowl is an excellent example of her finer work. Very good condition considering the age, as I estimate somewhere around 50 years old. Some minor scuffing as expected for a piece of this age. Please view ALL photos for complete description and condition, nothing is hidden, all sides shown. Salt shaker shown for proportion. The display stand shown is included. Measures approximately 3 1/2 inches at high laying flat, by 9 1/2 inches at it’s widest point. The starting price is what I paid for it in 2015, but I will consider offers. Truly exceptional Sikyatki Revival Piece for the discerning collector. The item “Hopi Pottery, Vintage, Large Traditional Sikyatki Revival Design Bowl, Signed” is in sale since Saturday, July 13, 2019.
