Add a touch of vintage charm to your dinnerware collection with this beautiful ceramic bowl from French potter Pol Chambost. The oval-shaped bowl, signed and dated 1926, features a lovely blue and off-white color scheme with a stackable design for easy storage. The hand-painted ocean-themed pattern adds a unique touch, making it perfect for all occasions. The undulating natural curves around the bowl ignites the ultra marine blue bending into the center of the cool toned off white delighting the eye. This one-piece bowl, handmade using pottery techniques, is an original mid-century modern piece from the early 20th century. With its antique value, it’s a great souvenir item for collectors. The bowl measures 7 3/4″ in length and 3 3/4″ in width, and has a black under surface with a hand in scribed signature denoting the artist and the country of origin.

All hand coiled pottery made and fired in the traditional way then painted with a hand made yucca brush this is a beautiful little gem of a pot. Well known artist, Garrett Maho was born into the Rabbit/Tobacco Clan in 1976. He learned to make pottery the traditional way, first with his grandmother, Marilyn Mahle, and then with his aunt, Gloria Mahle. Later in life he took advantage of opportunities to work with Jacob Koopee. Garrett likes making the traditional shapes he learned growing up but he also likes to incorporate neoclassical designs on his pieces. He says he finds his designs among the ancient Hopi ruins and among the designs his grandmother collected in her notebook which has been passed down in the family.
