Now they’re discontinued. Surface still has original factory sheen, which is typical of vintage Heath Ceramics before they’re washed multiple times. No chips, cracks, etc. However one cup does have a tiny “divot” from the manufacturing process on the top of its handle. It measures about 1mm, and it’s really difficult to see. Edith Heath’s Pottery always has minor variations and even slight imperfections, so I accept this as an example of them. Please refer to photos, which make the tiny indentation look much worse than reality. Check out my other Heath listings too! Experience the timeless elegance of mid-century modern design with this set of three Heath Ceramics coupe line coffee cups. Each teacup features a rich brown body complemented by vibrant aqua blue rims, and showcases the quality craftsmanship synonymous with Heath’s California art pottery tradition. These original pieces, stamped with Heath’s impressed backstamp, are a testament to their authenticity and heritage. Celebrated for their versatile style, these ceramic cups are ideal for all occasions, whether a casual morning coffee or an elegant evening tea. They’re a stunning addition to any collection, sure to captivate with their vintage pattern and nostalgic appeal.

Except some minor evidence of use, aging or imperfect items, to help with the description as every detail may not be caught. Please use the photos to help judge unsure in any way please ask. Vintage MCM aqua blue stoneware vessel made by American ceramic artist Rupert Deese, and described by Deese as an “oblate spheroid, softly squared”. Approximate dimensions: 4″ high x 7.5″ in diameter. Weighs just shy of 3 lbs 7 ounces. Signature: “RD” impressed signet, with artist’s original paper labels and paper card. Condition: No chips, cracks, or restoration. There are two minuscule popped glaze bubbles located side by side on the exterior of the vessel, as pictured. They are quite difficult to see, but you can feel the slight protrusion of the bubbles when you run your fingertips across the surface. Thank you for looking.
On offer is the lovely vintage low bowl made by Rookwood Pottery in 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio. This bowl features a beautiful aqua/blue/green glaze over a lighter colored base. The bowl is molded and has a band of well-defined lily pads and waterlilies in high and low relief around the shoulder of the piece. The piece is in great condition and must have been used for several years to display flowers as there are water stains inside the bowl, please see pics. It shows well and is a harder to find example of Rookwood pottery. The piece is about 5.5 inches in diameter, the opening is about 4 3/8 in. It is approximately 3 inches tall. The bowl has 4 feet which elevate it. From surface and give it more prominence. This bowl would be an excellent addition to a Rookwood collection and would be a nice accent piece in an Arts and Crafts/Mission setting. It will be mailed from our smoke, pet free home. Please see our other listings as we have many vintage items on offer, including many pieces of Rookwood.

This is a great set of vintage McCoy Pottery ovenproof (nesting) mixing bowls made in the USA. The largest, aqua bowl measures 8 inches in diameter and 4-1/2 inches high. The next largest, yellow bowl measures 7 inches in diameter and about 4 inches high. The smallest, pink bowl. Measures 6 inches in diameter and about 3 inches high. All are marked “McCoy USA ovenproof ” on the bottom. The only “issues” are several spots of popped glaze and a flea bite on the largest bowl and some crazing. The issues are pictured. Overall, this is a VERY NICE set in GREAT pastel colors! Please look at ALL photos! From a pet-free, smoke-free home. Please check out my other listings, too. Plus I pack like a pro!!
