Blue Drip Glaze Art Pottery. One small dark glaze imperfection (as seen in PIC). Blue, Cream, andTaupe in color.
Very good original condition! No chips or cracks!
Size: 7.1 inches in diameter, 1.25 inches in height. Condition: Some flaking to white painted decoration underside, some scuffs to edges and scratches to glaze some glaze loss on edges and glaze imperfection spots as detailed.
These bowls are in very good used condition. We strive to be as descriptive as possible and provide lots of pictures. We have a very low breakage rate. I try to always list a flat rate option when applicable.
The bowl is hand painted; a figural of a man in a religious outfit and a griffin within the bowl. It has the spelling of Generale Civitatis PervsII StvdIvm. Signed in black on back side; cannot read what it says. There is a wire hanger on backside. Shelf wear on ridge, scuff on ceramic on edge showing underlying pottery and a small tiny flea bite on edge. Any flaws; made that way, whether it’s lumps, bumps, glaze errors spots and dots. See all pics, what you see is what you get. Measures 2 1/8″ X 12.25″.
Very Nice Northwest Studio Art Pottery Wobble Bowl. Unlike other bowls I have seen this on has an unglazed bottom on the inside instead of the base. The base is intentionally slightly rounded to give the bowl a little wobble.
The white patches tht appear in the pics of the bottom are just reflected lights, which is why I took several photos of the bottom at different angles.
The intricate multicolor design and unique texture created through the raku firing process make this piece truly one-of-a-kind. This bowl will make a stunning centerpiece or a valuable addition to any pottery collection.
