I got this from a fine estate in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I was told that this bowl is a study bowl from the Song Dynasty. The lady of the estate received the bowl as a gift many years ago and did not know much more about it. The bowl is about 1 1/2″ high and about 4 1/4″ in diameter. This piece is also Signed underneath as shown in the pictures. It has a Nice Flow Blue & White Design with Floral Leaf Pattern with Fruit Décor and nice Curve and Contour throughout with Curved Edges. This is an Original Piece & a Very Hard Color Pattern to Find which makes it Rare Due to its Size, Age & Beauty. Art Pottery Boel Chinese Crackle Glaze. Antique footed bowl features crackle glaze finish and light yellow glaze. Footed section is glazed black and has a ribbed texture. Measures 6.5 inches in diameter and 3.75 inches tall and approximately inches deep.
Antique Wedgwood Blue White Pearlware Transferware Bowl Chinese Temples c1835. A very fine Wedgwood pearlware bowl or soup plate. Pattern is Chinese Temples and dates to 1835. Impressed Wedgwood on back and has 2 impressed star marks. An underglaze cobalt mark that is a triangle. The bowl also has an old label that says Bleier Collection and a number. My speculation is that this bowl may have come from the collection of Lloyd J Bleier, who had a collection of Wedgwood. Please view all the photos! Please take a look at many new items added daily.
