Beautiful 3 pc set of vintage Roseville Art Pottery from 100+ years ago! These pieces have been carefully inspected, under excellent lighting. Some small chips and glaze flakes are pictured. No other major chips, cracks or repairs have been noted. Please be aware that high definition photos make everything “super size”, so a fingerprint smudge on the lens can look like a severe fault on an object. A tiny, pinpoint nick or a glaze flake can look gigantic under the camera’s eye. If you see something I have missed, please let me know. I try to describe as accurately as possible. I want you to be able to make an informed decision. Notes: large planter/ bowl has marks/ small chips on the bottom rim in a pattern that leads me to suspect that a 3-legged stilt set may have caused the markings when removed after the glaze was firing… Interior has a mark that is NOT a crack. Extra clay may have been flattened down in this area? There are several pointers showing glaze skips, some being larger than normally seen (4 areas), where the bare clay/dust can be seen below. Lots of tiny glaze flakes and flea-bites, noted for accuracy. Area on the lip with a lighter coloration is not a chip. Just a lighter spot. Smaller, Left planter/ bowl has exaggerated seam lines on both sides where the two molded pieces would have been pressed together, then smoothed before firing. Smaller, Right planter has area with pimples… Bits of excess clay that stick out but were glazed over in the production process. Please see photos, as they are a part of the description. Please do not hesitate to ask questions if you have any. I have downsized drastically, and have nowhere to display “my pretties”. I hate to keep them boxed up in storage. I would rather find good homes where the pieces can be enjoyed by all! If you, your family or friends would like to provide a good home, please let me know or make an offer! As I find time, I will be listing more art pottery, Swarovski crystal, leathers and all sorts of things I’ve collected through the years. I “reuse and recycle” whenever I’m able, to keep as much waste out of the landfill as possible. I will only reuse a box if it appears fit for world travel. If you require new, please let me know so that your expectations are properly met. This set has been in my personal collection for many years, I displayed a few bowls but the majority of them were stored away in a cabinet. The bowls are in really great condition for their age. The only “flaws” I can find are a small nick on the #2 ivory bowl – pin head size, and the largest bowl, #7 has a small chip out of the rim. There is no crazing or other noticeable flaws that I can find. There is normal imperfections in pottery like this which is always going to be there but as far as condition these are great. Largest bowl #7 is cobalt blue. #6 bowl is Turquoise. #5 bowl is Yellow. #4 bowl is Green. #3 bowl is Cobalt blue. #2 bowl is Ivory. #1 bowl is original red (I think).
