Originating from an extensive private studio pottery collection with a diverse representation of potters we are pleased to offer this stunning vintage hand thrown studio pottery bowl decorated with a stylized tree design on a grey glazed ground and dating from the 20th century. This large rounded stoneware bowl stands on a narrow rounded unglazed foot and is of wide shallow rounded shape, the outer edge partially glazed in a brown flecked stone coloured glaze. The inner bowl has a moulded relief ribbed design around the inner edge arranged around a stone grey glazed centre with a stylized tree design incised and decorated in contrasting light grey colours. The bowl has an impressed potters mark to the base which we have been unable to identify. We cannot and will not declare items below the sale value. This item has been fully inspected in house.
