VTG Mid Century SASCHA BRASTOFF POTTERY EGG Footed LIDDED Jar Bowl ABSTRACT ART

Outstanding ceramic egg shaped 3 footed lidded jar, with modernist abstract gold design patterns, and a textured sand like glaze done in mint green. This piece measures roughly 7.5″ tall X 4.5″ in diameter. This piece is signed on the bottom side along with a rooster marking. Excellent condition except for one grain of sand that flaked off (can be seen in the last photo). This piece is ready for your collection or decor display right now! Color and design look like something from he natural world, like the iris of an eye or an occurence in space. Rim has unique slits or pockets around the perimeter. Potter is unknown, but the piece looks like it has some age to it circa mid 20th century around 1960/1970. No damage, but the glaze show some crazing in the center.
