Vintage Pottery Bowls

SIX “FLORIDA” DESSERT / SALAD BOWLS. Here are six stunning bowls in the Lennox “Florida” pattern. The ivory china bowls have palest yellow rims with edges trimmed in gold. The rims are decorated with enamel fruits, flowers with enamel centers and two beautiful exotic birds. The interior of the rim is trimmed with a double border of purple and black & white check. The bowls are 1 1/4″ high, measure 7 3/8″ in diameter across the top and have 1 wide rims. They are the perfect size for salad or dessert but could probably also serve cereal or soup. All six bowls are in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, stains or crazing. There are a few very faint scratches (Storage, I Think) that you can only see when the bowls are angled in good light. There is no paint loss. Overall, the entire set is as close to mint as bowls of this vintage (1920′s – 1940′s) get. The bottoms are stamped with the special Lenox black Florida mark shown in the photos. There are two sets of six bowls each being offered. If it falls short, we will make up the difference.
