Vintage Pauline Setalla Signed Hopi Clay Bowl. I have listed a very old vintage Pauline Setalla clay bowl, most likely prior to the 1960′s. This may be one of her earliest pots as it has both the Hopi dwelling and paw drawings. It appears that she misspelled her name, missing the T in her name (not sure why). Both A’s are capitalized in her name. It appears in her more recent creations that her name has lower case a’s. The bowl shows its age as the painted surface does show wear. The signature and drawings are faint due to the age. The bowl measures a little over 6. The opening is 3″ and the height is about 4″. Also, there is a what appears to be a penciled mark on the bottom, 125. It’s very faint, just above the signature. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
