This listing is for a JB Owens Opalesce Inlaid Malachite bowl. Rare line produced 1905 design by John Lessell. The bowl measures approximately 3 1/2″ high x 8″ widest diameter. I think this is the bottom of a humidor, but is also could be a cupped bowl. This piece is unmarked. Examples have been found with a label. Beautiful & very rare! Condition: EXC condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Just a couple of very small areas of malachite loss – the largest being approximately 1/8. In BEAUTIFUL pre-owned condition! Very little wear shown inside bowl, but it has been used. There is a close-up with some markings on the outside, but I think it has to do with use. Please pay close attention to all of the pictures.
