Beautiful Antique porcelain large footed punch bowl by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges France, decorated in Art Nouveau Style. Marked on the underside with Tressemann &Vogt Limoges mark. Overall good condition considering the age; use related marks; wear and firing imperfections.
This exquisite oval-shaped porcelain bowl from Limoges is a true masterpiece of Art Nouveau style. Featuring a stunning hand-painted floral pattern in light pastels, this antique piece is an original production from the early 20th century. Stunning white petal flowers along baby blue and amber waves of leaves, this piece is definitely one of the more gorgeous pieces I’ve seen in a long time. Heavy gold gilded wavy edges and two handles top of the already screaming Art Nouveau style! Signed by Pascal on the inside of the bowl in gold, it is also stamped on the bottom with the Elite Works St. Martial stamp and Elite L France, dating it to approximately 1920. An extremely large, centerpiece type bowl, it measures 14 3/4″ in length, 8.5″ in width, and 4.5 in height. In excellent condition with only some very minor wear to the gold gilded edges. This exquisite bowl would add elegance to any household!

Exquisite Decorative CFH/GDM Charles Field Haviland (Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel), ROUND Covered SOUP TUREEN , Pink Brown Yellow Green on White w/Gold. DESCRIPTION: This features sprays of pink and yellow flowers with green and brown leaves sprinkled over the high white porcelain. There are even 3 sprays inside the bowl. The handles are heavily embossed and swirl to form a unique shape. The gold paint highlights the shape of the handles. The bowl and its lid are both embossed with a swirling design on the lid. The lid sits inside the bowl, but has a flange that overlaps the top of the bowl. CONDITION: The condition of this decorative set is superb. We can find only one tiny manufacturing defect and no damage. Look at the 1st and 11th photos. Find the black dot next to the bottom rim (which is a common dot from the ash of the coal fired kiln). Just below that is a 1/8 inch slip crack which formed when the piece was pulled from the mold. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, rubbings, scratches or hairlines. Please refer to the photos to see how classically beautiful this is. DIMENSIONS: The elegant round tureen is 11 1/4″ handle to handle with a diameter of 8 7/8″ and a height of 3 7/8. The lid’s diameter is 9 1/4. With the lid in place, the overall height is 7 1/2. HISTORY/MARKS: Charles Field Haviland was the nephew of David Haviland. Charles Field in 1858 married Loiuse Alluaud, the granddaughter of the Alluaud porcelain family. In 1876 management of the firm was entrusted to Charles Field Haviland and the pottery’s name was changed prior to his retirement in 1881. The partnership of Gerard, Dufaisseix & Morel took over. The whiteware mark was changed to have the GDM under the CFH. Morel ceased to be a partner in 1890. This item was manufactured by GDM (Gerard, Dufaisseix & Morel) at their Rue De Nexon pottery in Limoges, France. This is one of the successors to the CFH pottery. It has the green CFH/GDM backstamp with France written under it which came into effect with the partnership between Emile Gerard – Director, Jean-Baptiste Dufraisseix – Decorator, and Morel in 1891. This mark continued in use until 1900. Please view all pictures carefully as they are part of the description. The stand was used as a photo prop and is not part of this listing. Beautifully hand painted antique set of Limoges bowls! Antique T&V Limoges footed berry Nut bowl set 5 Piece Hand Painted 3 Signed. Each berry bowl contains a different hand painted scene: one each of blueberries, raspberries, gooseberries, and red currents or cranberries. Three small bowls are signed or initialed by the same artist: L. Each are painted in the same style, so I’m not certain why the last isn’t signed or initialed. Small bowls are about 5.25 in diameter. The larger bowl is a beautiful hand painted scene of cherries measuring about 8.5″x3″. There are cherries inside and out. The three feet are gold gilt as are the rims to all of the bowls. These T&V Limoges bowls were made between 1892 and 1907. Considering their age, this set is in very good condition! One small bowl has a hairline crack seen in pics. Rest are no cracks no chips no crazing. Very little paint or gold loss even at their age!
Antique Coiffe Limoges Hand Painted 10 inch Bowl Putti Florals Artist Signed. Gorgeous use of colors and detail in this lovely Victorian hand painted artist signed French Limoges porcelain bowl! This bowl dates to approximately the time period of 1891 to 1914. It measures 10 inches diameter and height is 2 1/4 inch. Condition is very good with no damage. I do not see any loss to the gold. It has a bit of surface wear to the center of bowl but really only noticeable if you examine very closely. It seems to have been well preserved. The beautiful hand painted florals in shades or peach and ivory and green lobed leaves outlined in gold are well executed. There is a center feature of charming Putti or cherubs in the clouds. 4 ovals of hand painted Putti on the rim of the bowl… Each one is a bit different. The oval panels are against a bright green ground. Red border rim and red rim at the verge with a gold gilt filigree. An outer gold filigree border on the outside of bowl. It is marked with the Coiffe star mark in green that was used during the time period of 1891 to 1914. It is also marked in red with the L. Limoges mark (Lazarus Straus & Sons) that was used from 1895 to 1917. They were a US importer of items from Limoges, France based in New York. It is artist signed on the lower right L.
