Here we have a very, very special, very rare mid-century modern, 13-piece Italian art pottery service set for 12. Classic rooster motif designed by Narareus for Artistica Ceramics Italy. Includes one large handled serving bowl and twelve oversized handled individual bowls. Works as well for salad as it would for serving fruit, pasta, stews, and desserts. Great set for serving a monumental ice cream mountain of flavors. Also makes an incredibly beautiful and rare display set. Condition is — miraculously — MINT. The app shows only one possible shipper, whose price may be the highest, as opposed to the lowest. Included in the set. One handled serving bowl with green-bodied rooster. Two handled individual bowls with orange/brown-bodied rooster. Three handled individual bowls with green-bodied rooster. Three handled individual bowls with blue-bodied rooster. Four handled individual bowls with red-bodied rooster. Please see photos of marks. Approximate measurements and capacity. Serving Bowl Capacity : 64 fluid ounces, or half a gallon, which would fill the bowl up to the rim; more than half a gallon if serving solid food such as salad, which can be heaped above the brim of the bowl. Serving Bowl Measurements: 13.25″ diameter (including handles) x 4″ height; not including handles, diameter is 12.5. Individual Bowls Capacity : 16 fluid ounces, or two cups, which would fill a bowl up to the rim; more than that if serving solid food such as salad that can be heaped above the brim of the bowl. Individual Bowls Measurements: 8.75″ diameter (including handles) x 2″ height; not including handles, diameter is 7.5. Condition : Our photographs reveal the condition best — please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. We often add graphics such as arrows, circles, and text boxes to our photos to point out things of interest that might be hard to see, such as a price tag or maker’s mark, as well as to highlight many condition flaws. Truly remarkable condition for its age. We are very picky graders of pottery, but this set is pristine. No signs of use to any of the pieces. Very clean and fresh, with vibrant color, and no damage. No chips, cracks, silver/gray utensil marks, any other types of marks, stains, or crazing. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we’ll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us. If you’re unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. So just shoot us a message. If we messed up — everybody does — give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we’ll do what we can to make it right.
Absolutely stunning studio pottery bowl with spout. I guess it would be good for batter or soup. Signed on base but mark is illegible to me. The colors on this piece blow my mind. I’ve had it displayed in my kitchen for a long time. At the right price you’ll force me to find one I like just as much hopefully. It will take the right price to pry it from my hands though. I bought it to sell and then could not bring myself to do it as happens often. Approximately 7 1/2″ diameter, 3 1/2″ height.
