

This is a vintage Gerz German Stoneware castle-&-grapevine-patterned 9-piece Punchbowl/Tureen set, with a lid and 7 matching cups, and was made in West Germany in the 1950′s by Simon Peter Gerz (Gerzit) pottery. Its function has been purely decorative, so it has never actually been used. Design: The bowl features relief images of famous German castles, including Burg Sonneck, Ruine Maus, and Burg Katz, and is decorated with grapes and vines. Typical use: It can be used for serving mulled wine, soup, or punch. Punch Bowl is 12″ tall (14″ with lid) & 12 wide, with a 4 liter volume.
