Vintage Antique Large Stoneware Crock Pottery Yellow Ware Mixing Bowl. An excellent item to add to your stoneware crockery collection. These stoneware bowls are getting more and more scarce. Features golden yellow cream color glaze with ornately decorated raised scrolled foliage design on sides. Also has a raised band around top rim and footed on the bottom. Blue cobalt marking on base is a large diamond that is unreadable. Philadelphia City Pottery, Pennsylvania, USA is the maker. Very large, measures 5 1/2″ tall, 12 1/2″ across top rim. Very good condition for its age. It has two small chip marks on outside of top rim, Crack on top rim about 3 1/2 going into center of the bowl. Bottom foot of the bowl has several chips.
