This vintage American pottery bowl by renowned Stella Teller features a geometric abstract motive that showcases the Isleta Pueblo in New Mexico. The bowl is handmade there are some minor flaws due to age, bowl measures 4″x5″x5 and is signed.
Pottery Construction: Hand Coiled. Type of Pottery: Small Bowl. Firing Method: Outdoor Wood Fireplace. Era: Contemporary (1980s- present). Age: Circa 1980s- early 2000s. This vintage, unsigned, thin-walled bowl was made in the traditional hand coiling technique. The repeat pattern running around the outside of the bowl is painted with natural plant pigments. The pot has seen use and is worn and chipped in places but the painted design still stands out clearly. If you have any questions, or would like more pictures, please just ask.
