A Vintage Mid-Century Japanese White Ware Ikebana Footed Deep Bowl / Vase. The piece has a crack on one side pictured, so it’s not for use. It’s beautifully colored. It has what I think is the artist mark on the bottom. It looks to be Japanese characters also pictured. It has a paper label with the number 2 on the side. It’s about 7 3/4″ tall and the bowl part is about 5 3/4″ wide. It’s thickly walled. The piece decorated with brushed lavender color? It’s a very beautiful work of art with an issue. Offered for sale is this large vintage Japanese art pottery ikebana vase. It has a beautiful white glaze over gray/blue – you can see some of the gray/blue showing through in the glaze drips around the bottom. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. This is a substantial piece of pottery. It is just over 14 inches long, 10.5 inches wide, and is approximately 3.25 inches tall. It is in excellent condition. There is are no chips or cracks.
