RARE vintage antique original RS Prussia Bowl with Four Portrait Beauty. EXQUISITE decoration all around the inside of this 10″ diameter and about 3″ deep bowl. Four different portraits of the beauties with alternating roses in between the lobes. LOTS of lacy like decorations around the portraits and roses and in the center of the bowl. LOTS of gold leaf around the outer rim and in between the lobes. Marked with the red stamp RS Prussia and gold leaf Gesetzlich gesehutzt on the bottom. Condition wise there is some loss of the gold leaf at the high points, there is a saucer shaped crack in the bottom of the bowl inside the bottom rim edge and crow’s foot hairline beside the crack. If you view the photos closely you can see where the crack appears in the bottom of the bowl on the inside and on the outside of the bowl. No chips, repairs, touch-ups, or other damage.
