A genuine vintage 60′s/70′s classic. Made by Royal Copenhagen of Denmark. These are known as their Baca or Fajance style ceramics. Shades of caramel to midnight blue. Abstract fruit designs as shown. The bowl is marked on the base with the maker’s mark. Also stamped with the Royal Copenhagen and designer Joanne Gerber’s logos. This is a “factory first”, the best quality. A nice sized bowl at 17 cm wide. Stunning glaze work on this bowl depicting abstract fruit. This design, by the famous Joanne Gerber, is one of the most collectable. Color and design look like something from he natural world, like the iris of an eye or an occurence in space. Rim has unique slits or pockets around the perimeter. Potter is unknown, but the piece looks like it has some age to it circa mid 20th century around 1960/1970. No damage, but the glaze show some crazing in the center.
