Vintage Pottery Bowls

Wonderful early authentic Van Briggle vase or bowl, dating to the teens. This beautiful piece is done in Mulberry and is still quite vibrant in appearance. The raised artwork is an attractive XOXO geometric pattern. This piece might possibly need a little bit of minor cleaning. As you can see in the photos, when looking close up, there are a couple very tiny little white specks which looks like maybe paint overspray. I doubt that this piece came out of Van Briggle’s studio or factory with those little specks, but I guess you never know? This piece measures roughly 3.5″ tall x 6″ in diameter. Very minor light surface wear might have the slightest possibility of being found as this piece is around 100 years old. And there is the smallest thinnest hairline crack running down from the top to the side. It was very difficult to notice honestly, and I didn’t see it until I was finished taking my pictures, but there is one there (last photo – might need to zoom in). The tiny crack has no effect on the overall structure or integrity of this outstanding Van Briggle piece. My apologies in advance for any lighting glares or reflections you might see in the photos.
