Being offered is a large, vintage, Acoma Indian made art pottery bowl. This is an exceptional piece as the bowl was hand thrown and has thin wall construction. The piece is decorated with the classic colors, symbols and designs. The bowl shows typical age related wearing and has some surface scuffs, scratches, and color thinning in places. There is a glaze or slip color smear on one side from the manufacturing process. This is shown in one of the pics. The bowl is intact with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Overall, nice shape for a piece this size. The bowl is approx. 7 5/8″ tall by 8 1/2″ wide at its widest portion. In addition, I sell items for Native Americans and from personal collections.
