This is a vintage Fiesta Ware 4 3/4 inch medium green fruit bowl made by Homer Laughlin. This is guaranteed to be medium green and not shamrock. Medium green was introduced in 1959, the same year that the bowl was discontinued. It was the last color introduced so it has the shortest run of all colors in this bowl. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs to the bowl. The bowl measures about 4 3/4 inches across and 1 1/2 tall. The color has an even application of glaze, except for the inner rings that show white. The color and glaze is bright and shinny so I believe they have limited exposure to a dishwasher. Both new and old nappy bowls have the old mold marks. Some colors are close for both periods, so it is helpful to be aware of the colors and their production periods when purchasing Fiesta Ware. There are slight variation in color from piece to piece, depending on the humidity and temperature of the day that they were produced. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
