I got this from a fine estate in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I was told that this bowl is a study bowl from the Song Dynasty. The lady of the estate received the bowl as a gift many years ago and did not know much more about it. The bowl is about 1 1/2″ high and about 4 1/4″ in diameter. It has some wear and small chips from age. Check out the photos! Visit my other auctions for 4 other Song Dynasty bowls from the same estate!
