Vintage Mexican Ceramic Pottery Folk Art Bowl Antonio Rivera. Artes Folklorico presents a vintage Mexican ceramic pottery bowl made by Antonio Rivera, one of the most talented potters out of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. Riveras pottery exhibits magnificent depictions of flowers and birds usually with a petatillo or cross-hatched background. His pieces are hard to find. We date the bowl to circa 1940s/50s. The bowl has a tripod design of three feet with the inside showcasing the cornucopia of glazes and floral designs. The bowl is quite large measuring 3-3/4 inches in height and 11-1/2 in diameter.
