Evans Mission Swirl 1930s Vintage Hand Made Brown Art Pottery Covered Bowl. Rarely seen Evans pottery Niloak mission swirl style covered bowl. Shows well with a small nick to the base of the lid and narrow chip to the inside lip of the bowl rim. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bowl is 4″ tall and 4 1/2″ wide. Evans Pottery began making swirl pottery in 1928. Several years later they moved to Boulder City, Nevada and ultimately Barstow, California. In Barstow Evans produced Desert Sands Pottery.
