Native American Vintage Hopi Fannie Nampeyo Polychrome Large Pottery Bowl. This is a wonderful 1950′s? Polychrome vessel by Fannie Nampeyo, daughter of Nampeyo of Hano, the grand matriarch of Hopi pottery. This example has a rich patina and is fairly large, 4 1/2″ tall X 71/2″ wide at the top. The bowl has some minor disturbances in the design and a few very light scratches, consistant with its age. There are no chip or cracks. Singed Fannie Nampeyo on bottom. As found, including a coiled old baling twine/jute plant holder that was never used. The Condition is “Used”. An item like this will need to be securely packaged of course.
