Vintage HOPI Pottery Polychrome OLLA BOWL Native American. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks, the bowl measures 7 3/4″ diameter x 3″ tall. I acquired this at the estate sale of an older couple who did extensive travel both here in North America as well as abroad. The bowl is unsigned so, I can’t attribute it to any particular artist although the particular symbols/designs look very much like those of Rena Kavena (1898 – 1993). Since the bowl is not signed, this isn’t even an attribution…. Only stated as a similarity and, you can do your own research. I know what it is and the style but, beyond that, I have no expertise in Native American pottery so, please, look at the pics as they are an important part of the description. It’s actually a very nice bowl and sits quite level for an olla. This is probably from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s when the couple were actively traveling. I will seriously consider any and all offers so, don’t be afraid to ask….. You won’t insult me and I’m very easy to work with. Don’t miss out! From a Smoke Free Home! Most of the items that I sell here are vintage, antique, and/or used and may sometimes have signs of wear or age. I always do my best to get it to you pronto!
