Homemaker’ was a range of mass-produced tableware that was extremely popular in the UK in the 1950s and 60s. The first prototype was a single plate displayed on the Ridgway stand at the 1956 Blackpool trade fair where it attracted little interest. And the rest, as they say, is history. Being so widely produced, little of the pieces are classed as rare nowadays but have now became extremely collectable the world over. This lovely coffee pot, milk creamer jug and sugar bowl set is the perfect item for any friendly get together. In general good condition for its age with just the usual light surface wear and markings along with some crazing commensurate with age. The coffee pot measures approximately 20cm long spout to handle, 11.5cm wide and 18.5cm tall to the handle top. The jug measures approximately 12.5cm long spout to handle, 9cm wide and 8.5cm tall, while the sugar bowl measures approximately 11.5cm in diameter and 6cm tall.
