Vintage RS Germany Teapot, Cracker/Biscuit Bowl & Lid, 4 Cups & 5 Saucers and 5 plates. What a lovely and graceful R S Germany Prussia antique set this is, and in fabulous condition! The porcelain is very fine quality, and the roses are beautifully illustrated in a soft flowing style. The flowers bend and flow organically and are filled with delicate hand painted details, down to the pistils and stamens! Light green stems and leaves flow around the cup. The background color fades from brown tones at the top to ivory in the middle to white at the bottom. Both sides of the cup feature distinct and unique hand painted rose illustrations. The interiors have a striking gilt pattern that lines the upper edges. The handles and rims are trimmed in gilt to finish these lovely antique demitasse cups. Four matching porcelain saucers are also hand painted with one rose on each side of the plate with gilt rims. This fantastic R S Germany Tillowitz antique porcelain set is in excellent condition. One of the cups is cracked, see photos. All pieces are clearly marked on the bottom with the green. Wreath with a star at the top. Because of the angular Art Deco style handles, we believe these antique demitasse cups date to the early 1920s. The cups measure 3 inches tall and the saucers have a 4.5 inch diameter.
