This vintage Hopi bowl has a very typical beautiful wing and tail feather design. (some feel this is the Hopi migration design). The design is a bit more intricate than some and there is above the wing/tail feather design an area of almost sponged black paint (in the 1/4 circle over 3 black lines atop the wing/tail feather design)…. This sponged like work is associated with Nampeyo (or the Nampeyo family). The sticker on the side and the rather uneven rust paint appear to be 1920-30′s. This shallow bowl pot is. 6″ top diameter, 2″ high. I will pack carefully. The item “Vintage HOPI pottery shallow bowl polychrome 6 diameter” is in sale since Thursday, March 02, 2017.
