This Art Nouveau pottery bowl is decorated with embossed blue flowers and yellow ribbons. The bowl is supported by four cherubs. It was made by Karlsruhe and designed by Wilhelm Sues. The piece is marked on the bottom with the initials FK, a crown above a shield, Made in Germany and the numbers 1156 and 23. The piece likely dates to the 1910s-1920s. The piece has four firing pontils on the bottom edge. There are three flea bites on the bottom rim and one minor loss to the glaze. The piece is otherwise in very good condition.
