Wonderful handcrafted large open bowl by Hopi potter Patricia Honie. Very unusual, vintage piece. Dates from late 1960s/early 1970s. This piece is in very good condition. There are several small pits/pops in the pot. (see photo) This occurs when small imperfections are in the clay and is normal for older pots. It measures approximately 11.5″ in diameter and stands approximately 4″ tall. It was acquired directly from the artist around 1982. It is a signed piece This comes from the large collection of Southwest Native American items my parents acquired when they lived in New Mexico during the 1970s/ early 1980s.
