Very rare black and white stylized abstract porcelain elephant figure from the Cmielow Porcelain Tableware Industries, dating from the 1950s or 60s. Great mid century modern design! SIZE: 3.5 (8.5cm) tall approx. CONDITION: Very good condition with three tiny white marks (missing black color on its back). There are also some brownish lines on the base near the opening. They appear to be firing cracks and original to the piece but may be after production damage. I cannot be sure. Please disregard any other white spots as they are light reflections. MARKS: well marked with the Cmielow triangular mark as well as C 409-924 and 36. Other countries please enquire for a quote.
