This listing is for an early 20th century pottery bowl. It is of simple, organic form with a wide, rounded base and gently sloping sides that curve inward to form a wider opening. A warm and inviting aesthetic. The earthy glaze has a mottled effect, with a stunning blend of colors; reddish-orange areas contrasting with lighter beige and cream patches and hints of yellow. The glaze has a textured finish with subtle streaks and lines. The bowl has anomalies and accretion. A fine example of early Pewabic pottery. This rare piece measures 2.9″ high x 7.25″ diameter.
