It has a rich soft cream/buff color polished to a nice sheen. The polished cream finish is unique to the Jemez tribe. The clay is collected from the hills at the pueblo. It would be a beautiful addition to any collection. Handmade by a master potter Geraldine Sandia, award winning artist of the Jemez Pueblo in New Mexico, daughter of Cecilia & Arthur Loretto.
