THIS IS A SCARCE MID CENTURY DESIGN TECHNICS LEE ROSEN STUDIO POTTERY BOWL. DESIGN TECHNICS WAS STARTED BY LEE ROSEN IN GREENWICH VILLAGE IN THE 1940′S. THIS PIECE WAS MADE IN THE 1950′S -60′S AND FEATURES MULTI COLORED BANDS OVER A MOTTLED GLAZE BACKGROUND. A NICE SIZE AT 10″ ACROSS X 2 1/2″ HIGH AND SIGNED DESIGN TECHNICS ON THE BASE. FROM A LOCAL SEATTLE ESTATE IN GREAT CONDITION -SEE PHOTOS. WHAT MAY APPEAR TO IMPERFECTIONS ARE IN THE MAKING OF THIS STUDIO BOWL AND NOT DAMAGE. A FABULOUS EXAMPLE OF THIS POTTERY.
