Fez Pottery, Morocco – dating from the first half of the 20th century. A wheel thrown pottery bowl of charger form. The bowl rests on an integral collet type foot, (the foot rim incorporates a single piercing, allowing a wall suspension loop to be fitted). The interior is embellished with polychrome enamelled decoration – the decoration incorporates an inscribed central cartouche. Overall diameter – 9 1/4 (235mm). Weight – 738 grams. Condition – Very Good. Very minor rubbing and surface marks, (consistent with some age). Natural colour and patina.
