VINTAGE PAIR OF STUDIO-MADE WAVY BOWLS POSSIBLY JOVA RANCICH. From the Southampton estate of noted designer and taste arbiter Garrick Stephenson. A pair green glazed bowls with a wavy detail. Possibly the work of Serbian born New Zealand ceramicist Jova Rancich who worked in the 1930′s. Each bowl measures approximately 6 1/4″ in diameter by 3 1/8″ high. Both bowls have several small spots of glaze loss on the edges of the waves. Both are marked on the underside JOVA.
