She learned the Santa Clara ways, then moved to San Juan Pueblo when she got married. When her grandmother passed away in 1980, Sharon made the decision to make pottery full time. Since then she has specialized in making large blackware jars with carved avanyu designs or with impressed bear paw designs on her polished pots. She also sometimes makes seedpots and vases in black and red ware. In 2003 Sharon won the Best in Show award at the annual Eight Northern Pueblos Arts and Crafts Show. LETS MAKE A DEAL.
