This is my collection of Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs china that is for sale! I collected my pieces in the mid 1980′s and early 1990′s. These are the originals that were designed, made and produced in Aurora, NY by the original founders, in 1983, Victoria and Richard Mackenzie-Childs. Each piece is hand thrown, painted and fired so no two pieces are exactly alike. This is what makes the pieces so unique. If I had to describe this china with one word, it would be “whimsical”. All pieces are in wonderful shape except for three of the larger dinner plates. I have included a picture of the three with written indication of the flaws. Those plates are still usable and functional. They are all dish washer safe. This is what is included in the lot. 12 Dinner plates approximately 11.5-12 in diameter. 11 Berry bowls approximately 5.5 in diameter six are fluted, five aren’t fluted. 9 small plates approximately 6.5 in diameter. 9 salad/desert plates approximately 9 in diameter All fluted. 10 large bowls approximately 8.5 in diameter All but one are fluted. All pieces are stamped with an artisan stamp. Some are stamped with a date, some are not. I have plenty more pictures and can share with anyone who is interested to see more pictures of fronts and/or backs of the pieces. Please, happy to answer any questions, just ask! I will deliver in Chicago area as well. The item “Mackenzie-Childs Lot of Vintage Dishes, Bowls, Plates, China, Pottery” is in sale since Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
