The bowl is signed “WEKARA” and surrounded by six castles along the Rhine with vines and grapes draped in between. Along the inside of the handles are two climbing foxes and the top is crowned with a child angel figurine resting on a wine barrel, glass in hand. The 12 cups are approximately 3 1/4″ tall and 3 1/4″ in diameter and are made by two different German manufacturers. Six of the cups are from the Hamburg “FABRIK MARKT” displaying images of ancient German castles and the other six are signed “WW” (Wick-Werke) with images of three popular German sculptures. Some of the cups have light signs of age and can use a good cleaning but the large bowl itself does not appear to have ever been used.
