Outstanding large 13.75″ signed studio art pottery porcelain shallow bowl, signature not readable-shown in photos, wheel thrown & hand decorated, has incised upraised swirled rich dark to golden brown hues glossy interior, embellished with enamel like multicolor abstract designs in it’s center, 2 1/8″ high, excellent condition.

Created by Frederick Rhead and often referred to as the “salad nappie”. 11 5/16″ wide from rim to rim, 4 1/2 wide at base and 3″ tall. There are three spots found under the rim. These are not defects, but rather markings where stilts held up the bowl while in the kiln. Some scratching in the interior of the bowl due to normal use/ age. One small spot on the rim that appears to be an area that did not get glazed. Please review all photos.

Beautiful light green Fiestaware bowl from my grandmother’s estate. It is 11 and 5/16 inches in diameter from rim to rim and stands 3 inches high. It is used and has some signs of wear but this is minimal. The bowl still maintains its patina as I’m sure it was always washed by hand with care. Helena Wolfsohn Dresden Hand Painted Watteau Scene Blue Gold Shallow Bowl Nice antique German porcelain square shaped shallow bowl. Decorated in alternating panels with hand painted Dresden flowers over blue and scenes with hand painted Watteau scenes / courting couples. Each panel is framed by gold gilt scrollwork designs. Marked on the bottom with the Augustus Rex AR mark, which was used by Helena Wolfsohn between 1879 and 1883. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 5/8 inches wide x 1 7/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.

Beautiful vintage McCarty piece in rare Drifting Surf glaze!! This is a shallow 7 bowl that I’m thinking would be a candle plate or ashtray possibly. Rare piece with old glaze, distinct circular pattern and signature. Excellent condition, you will see a small firing hole in the back, but it is original to the piece, not a chip. Perfect Christmas gift for the McCarty collector!!
