A fantastic vintage pottery dog bowl – known as a spaniel bowl – for its unique, tall design which prevents large, floppy ears from getting in the food or water. The blue glaze is beautiful and bright. This is an excellent form, with sharp mold lines and gorgeous D O G lettering on two sides of the bowl. 7 1/4 bottom diameter. Please see photos for ruler views. Excellent , lightly used condition. Typical manufacturing flaws, including glaze misses & pops and uneven areas in clay. There is one small chip to the unglazed rim on the underside (pictured with ruler). Maker mark present to underside of bowl, including an incised pattern number of 145. Thank you for visiting!
