Gorgeous and so hard to find, Singing River Original Pottery Blue Crab bowl. Made in the 1980′s most likely, in Gautier, Mississippi. It measures 7 1/2″ wide, 5″ deep and 2 1/8 high. The eyes and claw tips are intact (these are often broken). There are tiny paint chips on the tips of the shell. Flipping him upside down you can see where there are hairline cracks in the paint at the joints of both claws. It displays beautifully despite the few issues. I’ve tried to show pictures of all the flaws but might have missed something tiny. I’m not an expert, so please see the pictures and ask any questions. Vintage Singing River Original Pottery OYSTER Dish with Bowl in the middle. Made in Gautier Mississippi. These are hard to find. Each oyster shell is uniquely shaped and painted, and glued onto the main platter which is green. In the center is a small yellow bowl which is also attached. The oyster shells have ragged edges, and are full of crazing lines as shown. There are some chips along the edges, but since it is shaped to be jagged, they are not noticeable. The biggest one is a chip on the underside of one shell which I have shown up close- you can tell from underneath but not when it is placed normally. Diameter is 12 across.
