The color of this bowl is Cobalt Blue. It is handmade and hand glazed. And unusual color as most tians are made in yellow or orange. Cobalt blue is a French provincial favorite and this is a very deep and rich color. Both handles are original and have not been repaired. It has a pourspout on one end. A charming French bowl set from the pottery-making village of Dieulefit dating from the mid century. It has a pretty rippled edge and is glazed yellow and yellow orange. These would make a charming fruit or salad bowls, or a lovely addition to one’s pottery collection. Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
