Up for sale is a rare vintage Bitossi bowl designed by Aldo Londi for his Rimini Blu Pesce series, sometime in the 60′s. The bowl is approximately 9 1/2″ in diameter with a height of 3″. It is incised on the bottom 300/94 (I think), Italy. It is in very good pre owned condition for its age with some small chips here and there (characteristic of this type of pottery), nothing which detracts from the piece. No cracks or repairs visible. A very classic Rimini Blu with intense turquoise and dark lapis blues but with a not so often seen design of incised fish on the bottom and sides, a definite collector’s piece..
