These pieces from Pacific Pottery are called Blended Glazes. This one has a striking coloration. It does have some small flaws. Please look over all the pictures. The first 3 close up pictures show small flea bites and a short crack going across the top of the rim. Only one of these tiny cracks shows up on the outside rim. The last picture shows the crazing which is not unexpected given this bowl is almost 100 years old and was probably a utilitarian bowl. Anything that looks like a crack in the inside bottom is just crazing because there are no cracks showing on the bottom of the bowl. It is 6¾ inches in diameter and 2¼ inches deep. The bottom is 5½ in diameter. Note that the mark is printed on the bottom and this mark was used in the 1930′s. I researched these bowls to get pricing and I came up with this price by striking the high and low sale price and averaging the rest on bowls that are in similar condition.

Manufactured by Pacific Pottery Co. This is a vintage large-size punch bowl #311 from Pacific’s Hostess Ware line. Would also serve wonderfully as a salad bowl, or unused as a vintage display piece. In very good condition for it’s age, no immediately noticeable flaws. A few minor imperfections and some light crazing on the inside. No chips or cracks on the outside. Some moderate wear on the feet (please see photos). Ringed with pale turquoise glaze. The punch bowl measures 11″ wide x 5 1/4″ tall. Comes from a non-smoking household. VTG PACIFIC POTTERY Hostessware 5-Piece MIXING BOWL SET – SUPER RARE! A rare set of five (5) Pacific Pottery mixing bowls of various sizes and colors!! Sizes: 9R – 12R – 18R – 24R – 30R. 30R is light blue – 6.5 diameter. 24R is orange – 7.0 diameter. 18R is light green – 8.5 diameter. 12R is yellow – 9.5 diameter. 9R is dark (deep) blue – 10.25 diameter. Had been in storage for over 40 years and have aged nicely. All bowls are in excellent lightly-used condition without flaws, with the exception of 24R and 18R. 24R (orange) has a stress crack from firing (see photos;) crack does not go all the way around the bowl, has not been altered and/or fixed to my knowledge. Appears to be in glazing, no integrity issue found. 18R (light green) has a small chip on edge (see photo). Please examine the photos carefully and contact me with any questions. I will only entertain reasonable offers if you feel the need to question the integrity and quality of these bowls. Due to the rarity of sets like this, the price reflects market availability, and, these have intrinsic and sentimental value to me but now is the time for others to enjoy and appreciate great products and companies from our past!
