Offering a beautiful French style black and white oval footed centerpiece fruit bowl by Mottahedeh, Italy, c. Century French Creil faience, the black transfer pattern features a romantic scene in the center, scrolls and ivy band on exterior with two embossed lion handles, with lion and musical instruments on the foot. Base is marked A Mottahedeh Design and the pattern S. Measures 14 ½” long x 7″ at the highest. In Excellent vintage condition, note two small chips on the base rim on one side and a small chip to the base of the other, minor wear to the black band commensurate with age and use, please see all photos.
