Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible COMPLETE set of 4 vintage 1930s nesting mixing bowls by the Homer Laughlin China Company in the highly sought-after “Apple Tree” pattern. These gorgeous Art Deco-era kitchen bowls feature a striking raised design of a blossoming apple tree wrap-around motif finished in a vibrant, glossy aqua turquoise glaze. They nest perfectly inside one another to save space while adding authentic farmhouse cottagecore charm to your display counter. Finding all four sizes intact together as a matching set is incredibly rare! The undersides are clearly marked with the embossed vintage HLC logo, confirming their authenticity. Kiln Marks: The interior bottom of the smallest bowl features three original factory stilt/kiln marks from production (visible in photos). This is a normal part of the 1930s firing process. Overall Condition: Great vintage shape! There is a tiny speck of wear/roughness along the bottom outer rim edge of the small bowl, along with normal, light surface wear consistent with age and gentle use. No large chips, structural cracks, or repairs.

Beautiful vintage stoneware mixing bowl featuring a warm cream-glazed interior, oatmeal-colored unglazed exterior, rich brown glazed band and hand-formed pouring spout. Its form, dimensions and finish closely resemble vintage French Digoin Grespots size 8 bowls. However, this piece is completely unmarked, so the maker and country of origin cannot be confirmed. Measurements. Approximately 9.75 inches across the rim. Approximately 5 inches tall Condition: Good vintage condition with no obvious chips or cracks observed. There is a small glazed-over irregularity along the rim that occurred during manufacture-not a later chip. The unglazed exterior has natural discoloration, surface marks and firing variations consistent with age and use. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description. A substantial and attractive piece for a French-country, farmhouse or primitive kitchen. Wonderful for display, open shelving, holding fruit or incorporating into a vintage pottery collection. Although unmarked this style pottery is often attributed to. Ruckels Pottery (Whitehall Pottery Works). It is 5″ tall & 10″ across the top. Please see pictures for condition. I took a lot of pictures so hopefully you can see the rusticness seen in these early unitarian pieces that was actually used.
